We’re one month into 2021, and a variety of new craft trends are popping out. Our Etsy analysis revealed that searches for handcrafted dolls and DIY home décor items would skyrocket this year in January. Many of us are exploring quarantine-friendly projects to keep busy, so this is expected.
Etsy rank — an Etsy marketplace analytics tool- indicates a 200-percent jump in DIY craft ideas searches.
Our world today is shifting to a creator-based economy. More people are spending time learning and mastering DIY crafts to upload on social media.
According to Yulia Zolotoraeva, CEO of Firebird Workshop, the pandemic has accelerated our ambitions to produce new things to greater heights.

1. Painting Blank Wooden Dolls
We cannot think of anything more enjoyable than painting. Our profession as painters may influence this bias towards the art of painting.
